PRE-SALE TICKETS:
The website will stop selling all pre-sale tickets Friday, May 19 at 3PM.  You will still be able to buy Friday/Saturday pre-sale tickets at the downtown Post Office until 5pm Friday, May 19.  Pre-sale Sunday Sip & Savor tickets will be on sale until Saturday at noon at the downtown Post Office.  Purchase Tickets Here

WINEFEST

The Downtown Washington Fine Art Fair & Winefest will be held in historic downtown Washington. This unique festival in the heart of Missouri wine country draws visitors each spring from across the Midwest. Complimentary cheese and crackers are provided in the tasting area under the wine tent, with a variety of snacks and gourmet foods on sale in the festival area. Admission to the wine tasting is $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and includes a souvenir wineglass. Visitors to the wine tasting area will also have the opportunity to win a special wine basket prepared by a participating winery. Hours are: 5-10pm Friday and Noon-10pm Saturday.

SIP & SAVOR SUNDAY

Sip and Savor Sunday is designed to provide seasoned wine tasting guests or first time visitors with a truly memorable experience that will allow them to celebrate spring, indulge their senses and learn more about pairing great area restaurant foods with fabulous Missouri wines. Wineries will pick one or two of their event wines and pair them up with an area restaurant to showcase their pairing. Celebrity judges from Feast Magazine will be on hand to award the traveling trophy to this year’s winner. Visitors won’t be left out though as their is also an award from peoples’ choice. Hours are from 12-3pm.

Art Fair

Held adjacent to the wine tasting pavilion, the Art Fair is a juried selection of Midwestern artists featuring exhibitions and sales run by the Arts Council of Washington in conjunction with Downtown Washington, Inc. Items on sale include watercolor paintings, photography, pottery, woodwork and more. FREE admission. Hours are Friday 5-8pm; Saturday 11am-8pm; and Sunday 11am-4pm.

Per City of Washington Chapter 250no pets or outside drinks are allowed in a festival zone.  Fine Art Fair & Winefest is located in a festival zone.

Join Downtown Washington and local musicians for a concert called  at the Farmers’ Market to benefit local food pantries.

Chili Cook-Off

Event Time: 6pm / Event Location: Downtown Washington, MO

The Downtown Washington, Inc. Fall Festival Committee is excited to announce the 2017 Downtown Washington Chili Cook-Off on Friday, September 22nd. This is the 17th year for the current chili cook-off downtown.  Part of the proceeds of the 2017 Chili Cook-Off will be benefiting the Franklin County Area United Way. The United Way will have a booth selling hot dogs and other goodies.  Each cook-off team will have a donation canister at their booth for the public to vote for the Most Money Raised for the United Way. These proceeds will be donated and used locally by the Franklin County United Way. The teams will be competing for Best Chili and Best Decorated Booth, with other special competitions. There will be trophies and cash prizes for the winners!

  • Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 day of.

  • Your ticket does not guarantee a 2017 chili mug or a full chili selection.  Please arrive early.
  • All ticket sales are final.

Fall Festival of the Arts and Crafts

September 23rd-24th, Downtown Washington, Inc. welcomes artisans from all over. Each will be showing their finest wares in historic downtown Washington.  As guests you will be able to purchase unique fine arts and crafts along Main and Elm Streets. Some of the many interesting items you will find are soaps, jewelry, original artwork, quilts, clothing, handmade wood furniture, and decorative items.  Music has always been a part of the Fall Festival of the Arts & Crafts, and this year we feature a great line-up. So, come on out with your friends and family and enjoy the music!  What is a festival without food? Downtown Washington, Inc. is happy to be bringing back our favorite foods as well as some new surprises.   Downtown Washington, Inc. would like to invite you and your family to enjoy a fun-filled weekend event (with free admission) and see historic downtown Washington!
